Eve was born in Lima Peru on July 11, 1978. In 1999 Eve moved to Miami, FL to further her studies in interior design. Becoming a mother in 2009 inspired Eve to pursue a career in childhood education, and she earned a degree in Exceptional Students Education at Miami Dade College and a Masters degree in Early Childhood Education with an specialization in Montessori philosophy. After developing a great passion for the cognitive, emotional and physical development of children, she continued her studies in Montessori Education, obtaining a second certification in elementary education. Eve also obtained an endorsement for English for Speakers of Other Language and an endorsement to teach Reading. Eve’s unique background lends itself greatly to Global Empowerment Mission’s relief efforts. She believes in the ripple effect of our good deeds. “Our actions influence others and they in turn influence others the same.” She was able to practice this belief first hand through Global Empowerment Mission’s massive effort in Puerto Rico after the hurricane Maria disaster in 2017. “If we don’t have the financial means, we can donate our time, and if not we can connect needs to resources by creating awareness and reaching out to who could help”. When not volunteering her time to Global Empowerment Mission, Eve teaches Pre-K students at Beachside Montessori Village in Hollywood, FL where she’s able to share the need to help others with the next generation.
