Joe Michalczyk

Joe Michalczyk is a partner in PwC’s Transaction Services group, and has been with the firm since 1998. His experience includes due diligence, transaction structuring, and related advisory services for both financial and strategic buyers. Joe has provided advisory services for divestitures as well as extensive work around highly complex carve-out transactions.
Joe has advised clients on well over 1000 deals varying in size from $50 million to $33 billion. Joe has extensive experience in various industries including advertising, aerospace and defense, consumer, automotive, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, and technology. He has experience serving both public and private clients and a number of other private equity groups, roll-up promoters and multinational and middle market companies. Joe is also the Global Relationship Partner on one of PwC’s largest Private Equity clients.

Joe is also a venture capital/private equity investor, having invested in over 20 start ups and private companies in the last 5 years.

Joe graduated from Moravian College and is a Certified Public Accountant. He is a member of the American, New York, Virginia and Pennsylvania Institutes of Certified Public Accountants, a published author of several thought leadership pieces, and on the board of several charities including the Little Lighthouse Foundation in Miami. While living in Washington DC, Joe was on the board of the DC chapter of Best Buddies, as well as the Capital City Public Charter School.
Joe lives between Miami and New York with his wife Anna. In his free time, Joe likes to golf, workout and travel (105 countries to date).
