Στις 4 Αυγούστου 2020 σημειώθηκαν δύο εκρήξεις στην πόλη της Βηρυτού του Λιβάνου. Οι εκρήξεις προκάλεσαν 177 θανάτους, 6.000 τραυματισμούς και δισεκατομμύρια υλικές ζημιές, αφήνοντας άστεγους 300.000 ανθρώπους.
