Shelly Tygielski

Shelly Tygielski is the founder of the global grassroots mutual aid organization Pandemic of Love and the author of Sit Down to Rise Up.  Shelly has raised over $62 million in aid over the course of the pandemic for families in need. Her work has been featured in over 100 media outlets, including CNN HeroesThe Tamron Hall ShowThe Kelly Clarkson ShowCBS This Morning, the New York Times, and The Washington Post. A trauma-informed mindfulness teacher and a Garrison Institute Fellow, she has been called one of the “12 Powerful Women of the Mindfulness Movement” by Mindful.org and teaches self-care and resilience at organizations around the world. A former corporate executive, Shelly spend over two decades running companies in mid- to large-sized organizations, publicly-traded and private. She now uses the lessons she learned in that space to benefit humanitarian causes.
