Erica Gordon is the Senior Vice President, Head of Corporate Affairs for Royal Caribbean Group,
one of the world’s leading vacation companies, where she leads the Group’s government relations,
public affairs, and community engagement efforts, and oversees the company’s Foundation. In
this role, she works to advance the Group’s global growth strategy, working with communities,
governments, and industry stakeholders around the world.
Erica joined Royal Caribbean Group from Hilton, where she was Senior Vice President and Global
Head of Public Affairs and Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG), following several roles of
increasing responsibility. There, she led Hilton’s global public policy strategy and environmental
and social impact imperatives, while also serving as President of the Hilton Global Foundation.
During her tenure, Erica worked extensively with government leaders, regulatory agencies,
trade associations, business coalitions, and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) to advance
Hilton’s policy agenda and its “Travel with Purpose” goals. She joined Hilton in 2012 as part of the
company’s Government Affairs organization.
Prior to Hilton, Erica served as Director of Policy and Government Affairs at Citizens Against
Government Waste and as a Regional Finance Director on Senator John McCain’s 2008 presidential
campaign. Earlier in her career, she worked in consulting and public policy roles with Booz Allen
Hamilton, a Washington-based lobbying firm, and the U.S. House Committee on Ways & Means.
Erica has served on the boards of several nonprofit and industry organizations, including Clean
the World, Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Washington, the Global Business Travel Association
Foundation and the U.S. Travel Association.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of
Pennsylvania and a Master of Public Policy from Georgetown University.
