Де сім’я — це те, що тримає. А місія GEM HGBF — це те, що підтримує.
📌 Місяцями під ударами авіабомб виживає Краснопільська громада. Кордон, росіяни щодня скидають на прикордонне селище десятки авіабомб, атакують дронами й артилерією.
Розбиті будівлі селищної ради, ліцею, лікарні, «Укртелеком» та Центр дитячої творчості. Під ворожими ударами також приватні будинки. Також триває евакуація населення.

📌 For months, the Krasnopillia community has been surviving under airstrikes.
Being near the border, the village is bombarded daily by dozens of aerial bombs dropped by Russian forces, as well as drone and artillery attacks.
The local council building, high school, hospital, Ukrtelecom office, and the Center for Children’s Creativity have been damaged. Residential homes are also under attack. Evacuation of the population continues.
💔 In the midst of it all, we stand by the people — bringing relief, hope, and humanity.

Phase 1: Katastrophenhilfe
Wir haben Lösungen, Partnerschaften und Strategien entwickelt, um alle Betroffenen zu erkennen und zu unterstützen, nicht nur in der Ukraine, sondern auch die Vertriebenen in Polen, Ungarn, Rumänien, der Slowakei, Moldawien, Georgien und darüber hinaus.
Verteilung der Hilfe in der gesamten Region
In March 2022, GEM activated its partnership with professional military NGOs such as Arial Recovery Group and many others. During this period, getting aid inside Ukraine required highly advanced tactics and methods. Since then, GEM has now established partnerships with over 150 vetted Ukrainian and European NGOs. To date, we have sent over 1,744 trucks into the region spanning 983 towns and cities. GEM currently delivers over 200 truckloads of aid to the front-line communities every month, supporting hundreds of thousands of people.
Phase 2: Der Zeitraum der Lücke
Aufgrund der besonderen Umstände in der Ukraine ist es von entscheidender Bedeutung, dass die Millionen von Binnenvertriebenen, die derzeit von Stadt zu Stadt ziehen, um Bombenangriffen zu entgehen, weiterhin mit Hilfe versorgt werden. Dies ist die sogenannte Lückenzeit.
Intelligente Klassen
Smart Classes ist eine Bildungsinitiative, die vertriebenen Kindern Unterrichtsräume und Ressourcen zur Verfügung stellt, damit sie ihre Schulausbildung fortsetzen können. In Zusammenarbeit mit SmartAid wurden Klassen in Polen, Rumänien, Moldawien und der Ukraine eingerichtet. Jedes Klassenzimmer ist mit allen technischen Hilfsmitteln ausgestattet, die die Schüler benötigen, um weiter zu lernen und gleichzeitig dem Lehrplan des ukrainischen Bildungsministeriums zu folgen.
Partnerschaft mit der Regierung
Since May 2022, GEM has established long-term memorandums of understanding with many regional governors and mayors throughout Ukraine. Within these agreements, GEM commits to supplying these regional government hubs with aid and winterization supplies. Government partnerships are in place with Bucha, Chernihiv, Kharkiv, Poltava, Vinnytsia, Odessa, Mykolaiv and Kviv regions.

Those in these regions have not seen outside assistance this entire time, and were at direct risk during the occupation period. Our GEM Ukraine team works closely with local government, partners, and intel to bring aid into these recently liberated areas within days, such as Kherson, Donetsk, Iziym, Avdiivka, and many more. Again, these individuals have not had any outside aid or assistance and this is the first relief they have had in months.
Überwinterung
Mit Durchschnittstemperaturen von unter 0 Grad Celsius war der nahende Winter in den letzten Monaten ein Grund zur Sorge. GEM konnte sich auf dieses kalte Wetter einstellen und hat bereits im Vorfeld lebensrettende Hilfe geleistet. Dazu gehören Tausende von warmen Decken und Bettzeug, Generatoren, kleine Heizgeräte, Anzündhilfen und vieles mehr. Darüber hinaus waren unsere Wiederaufbaubemühungen besonders notwendig, um zerbrochene Fenster und Heizungsanlagen schnell zu reparieren, bevor die Temperaturen sanken und Regen und Schnee fielen.
Unbesiegbarkeit
Die ukrainische Regierung und das Büro des Präsidenten haben im ganzen Land Tausende von "Unbesiegbarkeits-Punkten" eingerichtet, in denen die Bevölkerung warme Mahlzeiten, Zugang zu Ladegeräten, einen warmen Raum, Vorräte und Unterstützung durch die Gemeinschaft erhalten kann. GEM unterstützt derzeit über 200 dieser Punkte und stellt warme Mahlzeiten, Decken, Generatoren und andere gebietsspezifische Hilfsgüter zur Verfügung. Je mehr dieser Stellen eingerichtet werden, desto mehr Menschen können wir in der gesamten Ukraine unterstützen.
Phase 3: Nachhaltige Entwicklung
GEM hat in Zusammenarbeit mit Life Quality seine Wiederaufbauprogramme der Phase 3 aktiviert und reagiert damit auf den überwältigenden Wunsch der Ukrainer, in ihre Heimat zurückzukehren und ein Gefühl der Normalität und Hoffnung für die Zukunft zu bekommen.
Wichtige Reparaturen
Zu diesen Reparaturen gehört auch die Versorgung der Gemeinden mit Hilfsgütern, bis sie wieder voll funktionsfähig sind. In dieser Phase haben wir uns zum Wiederaufbau und zu leichten Reparaturarbeiten an Hunderten von Häusern, Wohnhäusern, Schulen, medizinischen Zentren und mehr verpflichtet. Diese Projekte haben es Hunderten von Menschen ermöglicht, in ihre Häuser zurückzukehren, Tausenden von Schülern den Schulbesuch zu ermöglichen und die lokale Wirtschaft wieder anzukurbeln. Alle Wiederaufbauarbeiten werden in risikoarmen Gebieten durchgeführt, in denen kritische Risikobewertungsmaßnahmen getroffen wurden.
Unterstützung an vorderster Front
In partnership with the Howard G. Buffett Foundation, major distributions along the active front lines have been taking place in the most needed areas. These communities are the hardest to reach and can be without support for months on end. We have been able to supply dozens of villages with Family Necessity Kits, generators, blankets, and more. Windows Program
Alongside the Howard G. Buffett Foundation, GEM has been actively working to repair thousands of windows that were destroyed due to the attacks. The windows are produced in-country, which supported these manufacturing facilities to have work during an uncertain time. By preforming these window repairs, thousands of families have been able to benefit by being able to stay in the comfort of their own home, without having to become displaced due to the freezing temperatures or discomfort.
