Estadísticas resumidas
Lo que hemos logrado hasta la fecha
GEM BStrong ha proporcionado una importante ayuda de emergencia a las siguientes 983 ciudades, pueblos y aldeas

Fase 1: Ayuda a la catástrofe
Establecimos soluciones, asociaciones y estrategias para reconocer y ayudar a todos los afectados, no sólo en Ucrania, sino a los desplazados en Polonia, Hungría, Rumanía, Eslovaquia, Moldavia, Georgia y más allá.
Distribuciones de ayuda en toda la región
En marzo de 2022, GEM activó su asociación con ONG militares profesionales como Arial Recovery Group y muchas otras. Durante este periodo, conseguir ayuda dentro de Ucrania requería tácticas y métodos muy avanzados. Desde entonces, GEM ha establecido asociaciones con más de 150 ONG ucranianas y europeas verificadas. Hasta la fecha, hemos enviado más de 1.744 camiones a la región, que abarcan 983 pueblos y ciudades. En la actualidad, GEM distribuye más de 200 camiones de ayuda a las comunidades de primera línea cada mes, ayudando a cientos de miles de personas.
Fase 2: El período de carencia
Debido a las singulares circunstancias de Ucrania, es fundamental que la ayuda siga fluyendo hacia los millones de desplazados del país que actualmente se desplazan de ciudad en ciudad para evitar los bombardeos. Es lo que se llama el período de carencia.
Clases inteligentes
Smart Classes es una iniciativa educativa que proporciona a los niños desplazados aulas y recursos para continuar su escolarización. En colaboración con SmartAid, se han establecido clases en Polonia, Rumanía, Moldavia y Ucrania. Cada aula está equipada con toda la tecnología necesaria para que los alumnos mantengan su aprendizaje, al tiempo que siguen el plan de estudios del Ministerio de Educación ucraniano.
Asociación con el Gobierno
Desde mayo de 2022, GEM ha establecido memorandos de entendimiento a largo plazo con muchos gobernadores y alcaldes regionales de toda Ucrania. En el marco de estos acuerdos, GEM se compromete a suministrar a estos centros gubernamentales regionales ayuda y suministros para el invierno. Existen asociaciones gubernamentales con las regiones de Bucha, Chernihiv, Kharkiv, Poltava, Vinnytsia, Odessa, Mykolaiv y Kviv.
Apoyo a las ciudades recién liberadas
Recientemente se han liberado con éxito muchas zonas de Ucrania. Algunos de estos pueblos, ciudades y regiones habían estado ocupados durante meses y meses, sin acceso a los recursos adecuados. Los habitantes de estas regiones no han recibido ayuda exterior en todo este tiempo y estuvieron en peligro directo durante el periodo de ocupación. Nuestro equipo GEM Ucrania trabaja en estrecha colaboración con el gobierno local, los socios y la inteligencia para llevar ayuda a estas zonas recientemente liberadas en cuestión de días, como Kherson, Donetsk, Iziym, Avdiivka, y muchos más. Una vez más, estas personas no han recibido ninguna ayuda o asistencia externa y este es el primer alivio que han tenido en meses.
Invernaje
Con temperaturas medias por debajo de los 0 grados centígrados, la proximidad del invierno ha sido una preocupación durante los últimos meses. GEM ha podido planificar en consecuencia para este clima frío y ha estado suministrando ayuda para salvar vidas de antemano. Esto incluye miles de mantas y ropa de cama caliente, generadores, pequeños calentadores, kits para encender el fuego, y más. Además, nuestros esfuerzos de reconstrucción fueron extra necesarios para reparar rápidamente las ventanas y calefacciones rotas antes de que bajaran las temperaturas y cayera la lluvia y la nieve.
Invencibilidad
El gobierno ucraniano y la oficina del Presidente han creado miles de "Puntos de Invencibilidad" en todo el país, que ofrecen un espacio donde la población local puede obtener comidas calientes, acceso a cargadores de dispositivos, un espacio cálido, suministros y apoyo comunitario. En la actualidad, GEM presta apoyo a más de 200 de estos puntos, proporcionando comidas calientes autocalentables, mantas, generadores y otros suministros específicos para cada zona. A medida que se establezcan más puntos de este tipo, podremos ayudar a muchos más ucranianos de forma rutinaria.
Fase 3: Desarrollo sostenible
GEM, en colaboración con Life Quality, ha activado sus programas de reconstrucción de la fase 3 en respuesta al deseo abrumador de los ucranianos de volver a casa con una sensación de normalidad y esperanza en el futuro.
Reparaciones vitales
Estas reparaciones incluyen el abastecimiento de suministros de sustento a las comunidades hasta que vuelvan a estar plenamente operativas. Durante esta fase, nos hemos comprometido a reconstruir y realizar reparaciones menores en cientos de viviendas, edificios de apartamentos, escuelas, centros médicos y otros lugares. Estos proyectos han permitido que cientos de personas regresen a sus hogares, que miles de estudiantes vuelvan a la escuela y que se reactive la economía local. Todos los trabajos de reconstrucción se realizan en zonas de bajo riesgo en las que se han tomado medidas críticas de evaluación de riesgos.
Apoyo en primera línea
En colaboración con la Fundación Howard G. Buffett, se han llevado a cabo importantes distribuciones a lo largo del frente activo en las zonas más necesitadas. Estas comunidades son las más difíciles de alcanzar y pueden estar sin ayuda durante meses. Hemos podido suministrar a docenas de aldeas kits de primera necesidad, generadores, mantas y mucho más. Junto con la Fundación Howard G. Buffett, GEM ha trabajado activamente para reparar miles de ventanas destruidas por los atentados. Las ventanas se fabrican en el país, lo que ha permitido a estas fábricas tener trabajo en un momento de incertidumbre. Gracias a la reparación de estas ventanas, miles de familias se han podido beneficiar de la comodidad de su propia casa, sin tener que desplazarse debido a las bajas temperaturas o a la incomodidad.
