
Phase 1: Disaster Relief
On November 21st, on the Java island, a powerful earthquake struck. The 6.9 magnitude disaster hit near the major city of Cianjur, destroying thousands of buildings and causing heavy landslides. The death count is currently almost 300 people, with many more expected to be found in the coming days. The main hospital is without electricity and supplies are extremely limited. It is estimated that over 20,000 homes were destroyed and almost 60,000 individuals have been displaced.
