Phase 1: Immediate Response

A powerful nor’easter storm is impacting the northeastern United States, bringing heavy rain and winds, coastal flooding, and widespread power outages. Coastal communities are facing dangerous surf, beach erosion, road closures, and flooding. Residents in New Jersey and New York have experienced extreme flooding, major power outages, and damaging winds. GEM has deployed to the New Jersey area to assist those affected.

Venezuela Earthquakes

Venezuela
On the evening of June 24th, back-to-back earthquakes struck Venezuela, with a 7.1 magnitude quake followed roughly a minute later by an even stronger 7.5 magnitude quake, centered just west of the capital. Buildings have collapsed across Caracas, where rescue crews are searching for survivors.

Philippines Earthquake 2026

Early June 8th, The Philippines most populous island of Mindanao was struck by a 7.8 magnitude quake. Immediately, infrastructure was severely damaged and tsunami warnings were put in place for the region.
