Venezuela Earthquakes

Following the devastating series of earthquakes that struck Venezuela, Global Empowerment Mission (GEM), in partnership with our long-time partner I Love Venezuela, is committing an initial $20 million in humanitarian aid and support to help affected families recover and rebuild.

With more than 15 years of experience responding to major earthquakes and operations across 14 significant earthquake disasters worldwide, GEM brings proven expertise in large-scale emergency logistics, humanitarian coordination, and long-term recovery. Our teams are deploying immediately to assess needs, establish operations, and deliver life-saving assistance where it is needed most.

Phase 1: Stabilization & Emergency Response (Days 3–75)

During the first 75 days of operations, GEM will focus on delivering rapid humanitarian relief through our global logistics network.

Using a combination of cargo aircraft, ocean freight, trucking, and local procurement, GEM will import, transport, and distribute more than $20 million in critical humanitarian supplies throughout affected communities.

Our response will include:

• Establishing multiple humanitarian distribution hubs across impacted regions in partnership with trusted local organizations.
• Delivering food, water, hygiene supplies, shelter materials, and other essential relief items to families affected by the disaster.
• Supporting hospitals and healthcare facilities with urgently needed medical supplies and equipment.
• Providing logistical and humanitarian support to trusted local NGOs to expand response capacity and reach vulnerable communities more quickly.
• Maintaining full accountability and inventory tracking across all humanitarian aid from arrival through final distribution to ensure transparency and effective delivery.

Phase 2: Recovery & Rebuilding

As emergency needs stabilize, GEM will transition into long-term recovery efforts focused on helping communities rebuild stronger.

Priority initiatives will include:

• Identifying and implementing sustainable housing solutions for displaced families.
• Rebuilding schools and educational infrastructure so children can safely return to learning.
• Supporting community-led recovery projects that strengthen resilience and restore essential services.

Working alongside I Love Venezuela, local partners, private sector supporters, and international donors, GEM is committed not only to providing immediate relief, but to helping Venezuelan communities recover with dignity and build a stronger future.
