Phase 1:

Disaster Relief

On September 9, 2020 a huge fire ripped through a massively overcrowded refugee camp in the Greek island of Lesbos. This caused over 13,000 people seeking asylum to be without shelter.

Phase 2

The Gap Period

GEM in partnership with Smart Aid, DHL Global & We Band Together responded in our Phase 2 initiative by sending hundreds of tents and lights in October 2020 to refugee families who are suffering from heavy rains and floods hitting the Island.
