Phase 1: Disaster Relief

Global Empowerment Mission BStrong is responding in the first phase of disaster relief.  Your donation allows us to support those affected by the recent flood disasters in the South Eastern United States. We thank you for your support.

EASTERN KENTUCKY

GEM BStrong in partnership with Praise Assembly Church KY distributed Family Necessities Kits, Flew the Coop Pet Boxes, water, and Bstrong cards. Areas supported: Floyd County, Knott County, and Perry County.

ST. LOUIS MISSOURI

GEM Bstrong also provided pallets of emergency supplies for Missouri flood victims with delivery facilitated by our partnership with Smile Trust. They are working with a coalition of St. Louis local organizations: Arch City Defenders, Action St Louis, Black Men Build St Louis.

Venezuela Earthquakes

Venezuela
On the evening of June 24th, back-to-back earthquakes struck Venezuela, with a 7.1 magnitude quake followed roughly a minute later by an even stronger 7.5 magnitude quake, centered just west of the capital. Buildings have collapsed across Caracas, where rescue crews are searching for survivors.

Philippines Earthquake 2026

Philippines
Early June 8th, The Philippines most populous island of Mindanao was struck by a 7.8 magnitude quake. Immediately, infrastructure was severely damaged and tsunami warnings were put in place for the region.

Lebanon Crisis

The GEM MENA team, alongside our partners HCI & ONSUR, is presently on the ground in Tyre (Soor), Lebanon supporting displaced families and individuals. The ongoing conflict and crisis in Lebanon has left roughly 80% of the population in poverty.
