Phase 1: Immediate Response

GEM USA West is responding to the Norte Fire in Orange County, which grew to approximately 570 acres and prompted evacuations as flame continue to threaten homes. Over 12,000 residents have been evacuated near San Clemente and San Juan Capistrano. The strong Santa Ana winds and tinder-dry brush are fueling the Norte Fire, while also putting other areas at heightened risk.

GEM USA West’s teams and bases, located in both Los Angeles and Chico, are positioned to respond to and will be closing monitoring all elevated wildfire danger across Northern and Southern California.
