🤲🏻 💦 ❤️Минулого тижня наші руки тримали пляшки з питною водою. Але здається, ми тримали щось важливіше. Ми тримали життя.
Вода — для селища Правдине, Херсонської області. Від нас, Глобальної Місії Розширення Прав та Можливостей та Фонду Говарда Баффетта. Від усього світу, який дбає.
📌Селище зазнало значних руйнувань внаслідок російської окупації та бойових дій під час війни. Воно знаходилось на лінії зіткнення між ЗСУ та російськими військами. Російські війська окупували село в перші тижні вторгнення і залишили його лише на початку листопада 2022 року.
Під час окупації село зазнало значних руйнувань, також, були зафіксовані випадки розстрілів мирних жителів та підрив будинку з тілами загиблих, щоб приховати злочин.

But it felt like we were holding something greater. We were holding life.
Drinking water — for the village of Pravdyne, Kherson region.
From us, the Global Empowerment Mission and the Howard G. Buffett Foundation.
From the world that still cares.
📌Pravdyne suffered devastating destruction during the war. The village was located on the front line between Ukrainian forces and Russian troops. It was occupied by Russian forces in the first weeks of the full-scale invasion and liberated only in early November 2022.
During the occupation, Pravdyne witnessed severe damage, executions of civilians, and even the demolition of a house with the bodies inside — a cruel attempt to cover up war crimes.
And yet — life remains. And we are here to honor it.

Faza 1: Pomoc w przypadku katastrofy
Ustanowiliśmy rozwiązania, partnerstwa i strategie, aby rozpoznać i pomóc wszystkim poszkodowanym, nie tylko na Ukrainie, ale także tym, którzy zostali przesiedleni w Polsce, na Węgrzech, w Rumunii, na Słowacji, w Mołdawii, w Gruzji i poza nią.
Dystrybucja pomocy w całym regionie
In March 2022, GEM activated its partnership with professional military NGOs such as Arial Recovery Group and many others. During this period, getting aid inside Ukraine required highly advanced tactics and methods. Since then, GEM has now established partnerships with over 150 vetted Ukrainian and European NGOs. To date, we have sent over 1,744 trucks into the region spanning 983 towns and cities. GEM currently delivers over 200 truckloads of aid to the front-line communities every month, supporting hundreds of thousands of people.

Ze względu na wyjątkowe warunki panujące na Ukrainie, niezwykle ważne jest, aby pomoc nadal płynęła do milionów przesiedleńców, którzy obecnie przemieszczają się z miasta do miasta, aby uniknąć bombardowań. Nazywa się to okresem przerwy.
Inteligentne klasy
Smart Classes to inicjatywa edukacyjna mająca na celu zapewnienie przesiedlonym dzieciom sal lekcyjnych i zasobów do kontynuowania nauki. We współpracy ze SmartAid, klasy zostały utworzone w Polsce, Rumunii, Mołdawii i na Ukrainie. Każda klasa jest wyposażona we wszystkie technologie potrzebne uczniom do kontynuowania nauki, przy jednoczesnym przestrzeganiu programu nauczania ukraińskiego Ministerstwa Edukacji.
Partnerstwo rządowe
Since May 2022, GEM has established long-term memorandums of understanding with many regional governors and mayors throughout Ukraine. Within these agreements, GEM commits to supplying these regional government hubs with aid and winterization supplies. Government partnerships are in place with Bucha, Chernihiv, Kharkiv, Poltava, Vinnytsia, Odessa, Mykolaiv and Kviv regions.
Wspieranie nowo wyzwolonych miast i miasteczek
Recently many areas of Ukraine have been successfully liberated. Some of these villages, cities, and regions had been occupied for months on end, where access to proper resources were unavailable. Those in these regions have not seen outside assistance this entire time, and were at direct risk during the occupation period. Our GEM Ukraine team works closely with local government, partners, and intel to bring aid into these recently liberated areas within days, such as Kherson, Donetsk, Iziym, Avdiivka, and many more. Again, these individuals have not had any outside aid or assistance and this is the first relief they have had in months.
Zimowanie
Przy średnich temperaturach poniżej 0 Celsjusza, zbliżająca się zima była zmartwieniem przez ostatnie kilka miesięcy. GEM był w stanie odpowiednio zaplanować tę zimną pogodę i już wcześniej dostarczał pomoc ratującą życie. Obejmuje to tysiące ciepłych koców i pościeli, generatory, małe grzejniki, zestawy do rozpalania ognia i wiele innych. Dodatkowo, nasze wysiłki w zakresie odbudowy były bardzo potrzebne, aby szybko naprawić zniszczone okna i jednostki grzewcze, zanim spadły temperatury i spadł deszcz i śnieg.
Niezwyciężoność
Rząd Ukrainy i biuro prezydenta stworzyły tysiące "Punktów Niezwyciężoności" w całym kraju, oferując miejsce, w którym mieszkańcy mogą otrzymać gorące posiłki, dostęp do ładowarek do urządzeń, ciepłe miejsce, zapasy i wsparcie społeczności. Obecnie GEM wspiera ponad 200 takich punktów, zapewniając ciepłe posiłki do samodzielnego podgrzania, koce, generatory i inne artykuły dostosowane do danego obszaru. W miarę powstawania kolejnych punktów będziemy mogli pomagać znacznie większej liczbie miejscowych na całej Ukrainie.
Etap 3: Zrównoważony rozwój
GEM, we współpracy z Life Quality, uruchomił swoją fazę 3 programów odbudowy w odpowiedzi na przemożne pragnienie Ukraińców, aby powrócić do domu w poczuciu normalności i nadziei na przyszłość.
Istotne naprawy
Naprawy te obejmują zaopatrzenie społeczności w zapasy żywności, aż do momentu ich pełnego przywrócenia. Podczas tej fazy zaangażowaliśmy się w odbudowę i lekkie naprawy setek domów, budynków mieszkalnych, szkół, ośrodków medycznych i innych. Projekty te umożliwiły setkom ludzi powrót do swoich domów, tysiącom studentów powrót do szkół, a lokalnej gospodarce - odświeżenie. In partnership with the Howard G. Buffett Foundation, major distributions along the active front lines have been taking place in the most needed areas. These communities are the hardest to reach and can be without support for months on end. We have been able to supply dozens of villages with Family Necessity Kits, generators, blankets, and more. We have been able to supply hundreds of these communities with Family Necessity Kits, generators, blankets, mattresses, and more. We are presently sending over 200 trucks per month to these regions.
Windows Program
Alongside the Howard G. Buffett Foundation, GEM has been actively working to repair thousands of windows that were destroyed due to the attacks. The windows are produced in-country, which supported these manufacturing facilities to have work during an uncertain time. By preforming these window repairs, thousands of families have been able to benefit by being able to stay in the comfort of their own home, without having to become displaced due to the freezing temperatures or discomfort.
