💙💛 Коли допомога приходить з теплом і турботою
Минулого тижня наші волонтери разом із @indiahicksstyle — похресницею Короля Чарльза III, та її сином @conradflintwood завітали до Павлівської сільської громади, Запорізької області. Це були не просто доставки гуманітарної допомоги — це були зустрічі, що залишають слід у серці.
📍🤲🏻📦🛍️ Перша родина — мама з двома дітками.
Ми передали сімейні продуктові набори та дитячі подарунки GEM HGBF. Але найважливішим виявилося не це.
Найважливішим було — просто бути поруч, вислухати, обійняти.
📍📦🫂❤️ Друга зустріч — жінка з інвалідністю, яка залишилася наодинці з усіма викликами війни.
Вона також отримала продуктовий набір GEM HGBF.
Але найбільше їй було потрібно, щоб хтось просто прийшов, сказав: «Ти не забута», вислухав і по-справжньому запитав, як вона.
🥺 Їхні свідчення про війну, про щоденне виживання — болючі й страшні.
Але саме вони надихають нас не зупинятися.
Бо допомога — це не лише продукти.

Last week, our volunteers, together with India Hicks — the goddaughter of King Charles III — and her son Conrad Flintwood, visited the Pavlivska rural community in the Zaporizhzhia region.
These were not just deliveries — they were meetings that leave a lasting mark on the heart.
📍🤲🏻📦🛍️ The first family — a mother with two children.
We delivered GEM HGBF family food kits and children’s gifts. But the most important thing was not the boxes.
It was simply being there — listening, and sharing a warm hug.
📍📦🫂❤️ The second meeting — a woman with a disability who has been left alone with all the challenges of war.
She also received food kits.
But what she needed most was for someone to come, to say: “You are not forgotten,” to listen, and to truly ask how she is.
🥺 Their stories of war and daily survival are painful and terrifying.
But they are exactly what inspires us to keep going, to not stop, and to continue helping.

Fase 1: Alívio de Catástrofes
Estabelecemos soluções, parcerias e estratégias para reconhecer e ajudar todas as pessoas afectadas, não só na Ucrânia, mas também os deslocados na Polónia, Hungria, Roménia, Eslováquia, Moldávia, Geórgia, e mais além.
Distribuição da ajuda em toda a região
Em março de 2022, o GEM activou a sua parceria com ONG militares profissionais, como o Arial Recovery Group e muitas outras. Durante este período, a obtenção de ajuda dentro da Ucrânia exigia tácticas e métodos altamente avançados. Desde então, o GEM estabeleceu parcerias com mais de 150 ONG ucranianas e europeias aprovadas. Até à data, enviámos mais de 1.744 camiões para a região, abrangendo 983 vilas e cidades. Atualmente, a GEM entrega mais de 200 camiões de ajuda às comunidades da linha da frente todos os meses, apoiando centenas de milhares de pessoas.
Fase 2: O Período de Diferença
Devido às circunstâncias únicas na Ucrânia, é fundamental que a ajuda continue a fluir para os milhões de pessoas deslocadas no país que actualmente se deslocam de cidade em cidade para evitar os bombardeamentos. A isto chama-se o período de vazio.
Aulas Inteligentes
As Smart Classes são uma iniciativa educativa que visa proporcionar às crianças deslocadas salas de aula e recursos para continuarem a estudar. Em parceria com a SmartAid, foram criadas turmas na Polónia, Roménia, Moldávia e Ucrânia. Cada sala de aula está equipada com toda a tecnologia necessária para que os alunos possam manter a sua aprendizagem, seguindo o currículo do Ministério da Educação ucraniano.
Parceria Governamental
Desde maio de 2022, o GEM estabeleceu memorandos de entendimento a longo prazo com muitos governadores e presidentes de câmara regionais em toda a Ucrânia. No âmbito destes acordos, a GEM compromete-se a fornecer a estes centros governamentais regionais ajuda e material de invernada. Estão em vigor parcerias governamentais com as regiões de Bucha, Chernihiv, Kharkiv, Poltava, Vinnytsia, Odessa, Mykolaiv e Kviv.
Apoio às cidades recentemente libertadas
Recentemente, muitas zonas da Ucrânia foram libertadas com êxito. Algumas destas aldeias, cidades e regiões estiveram ocupadas durante meses a fio, não tendo acesso a recursos adequados. Os habitantes destas regiões não receberam assistência externa durante todo este tempo e estiveram em risco direto durante o período de ocupação. A nossa equipa GEM Ucrânia trabalha em estreita colaboração com a administração local, os parceiros e os serviços de informação para levar ajuda a estas zonas recentemente libertadas no espaço de dias, como Kherson, Donetsk, Iziym, Avdiivka e muitas outras. Mais uma vez, estas pessoas não tiveram qualquer ajuda ou assistência externa e este é o primeiro auxílio que recebem em meses.

Com temperaturas médias inferiores a 0 Celsius, o Inverno que se aproxima tem sido uma preocupação nos últimos meses. Invencibilidade
O governo da Ucrânia e o gabinete do Presidente criaram milhares de 'Pontos de Invencibilidade' em todo o país, oferecendo um espaço onde os locais podem vir buscar refeições quentes, acesso a carregadores de dispositivos, um espaço quente, fornecimentos e apoio comunitário. A GEM está actualmente a apoiar mais de 200 destes pontos, fornecendo refeições quentes auto-aquecedoras, cobertores, geradores, e outros materiais específicos da área. À medida que mais destes pontos forem estabelecidos, seremos capazes de assistir rotineiramente muitos mais habitantes locais em toda a Ucrânia.
Fase 3: Desenvolvimento Sustentável
A GEM, em parceria com a Life Quality, activou os seus programas de reconstrução da Fase 3 em resposta a um desejo avassalador dos ucranianos de regressar a casa com uma sensação de normalidade e esperança para o futuro.
Reparação Vital
Estas reparações incluem o fornecimento de abastecimentos de sustento às comunidades até que estejam completamente operacionais. Durante esta fase, comprometemo-nos a reconstruir e reparar a luz em centenas de casas, edifícios de apartamentos, escolas, centros médicos, e muito mais. Estes projectos permitiram que centenas de pessoas regressassem às suas casas, milhares de estudantes regressassem à escola, e que a economia local fosse refrescada. Todos os trabalhos de reconstrução são realizados em áreas de baixo risco, onde foram tomadas medidas críticas de avaliação de risco.
Apoio na linha da frente
Em parceria com a Fundação Howard G. Buffett, têm sido efectuadas grandes distribuições ao longo das linhas da frente activas nas zonas mais necessitadas. Estas comunidades são as mais difíceis de alcançar e podem ficar sem apoio durante meses a fio. Conseguimos abastecer dezenas de aldeias com Kits de Necessidade Familiar, geradores, cobertores e muito mais. Atualmente, estamos a enviar mais de 200 camiões por mês para estas regiões.
Programa Windows
Juntamente com a Fundação Howard G. Buffett, a GEM tem trabalhado ativamente para reparar milhares de janelas que foram destruídas devido aos ataques. As janelas são produzidas no país, o que permitiu que estas instalações de fabrico tivessem trabalho durante um período de incerteza. Ao efetuar estas reparações de janelas, milhares de famílias puderam beneficiar do facto de poderem permanecer no conforto da sua própria casa, sem terem de se deslocar devido às temperaturas negativas ou ao desconforto.
