在危地马拉的圣胡安-阿洛特南戈，富埃戈火山正在缓慢喷发，火山灰和火山泥喷洒在居民区。数百名居民从周边地区撤离，多所学校和道路关闭，预计还将有数万人撤离。

位于危地马拉的 GEM 拉美团队正在受灾社区为撤离的居民提供支持。GEM 正在向避难所和面临危险的社区提供食品、卫生用品和水。GEM LATAM 目前正在奇马尔特南戈（Chimaltenango）当地，深入埃斯昆特拉（Escuintla）和萨卡特佩克斯（Sacatepequez）的农村地区。在这场灾难中，许多居民失去了庄稼和养家糊口的能力。2018 年，当同样的火山爆发并影响到这些地区时，GEM 也为这些社区提供了支持，只要有需要，我们就会一直提供帮助。

Lebanon Crisis

The GEM MENA team, alongside our partners HCI & ONSUR, is presently on the ground in Tyre (Soor), Lebanon supporting displaced families and individuals. The ongoing conflict and crisis in Lebanon has left roughly 80% of the population in poverty.

Oklahoma Tornado

GEM is presently on the ground in Enid, Oklahoma where a massive tornado destroyed over 40 homes and tore through neighbourhoods. Considered the strongest tornado of the year, so far, the storm has caused disruptions to power and water systems and to the Vance Air Force Base.
