Los Angeles county is presently being severely affected by a fast-moving and devastating wildfire, destroying homes and vegetation in the Pacific Palisades, Malibu, and into Santa Monica. Tens of thousands of people have been evacuated, with Governor Newsom declaring a state of emergency. Thousands of homes are at risk due to the quick spreading fire, carried by the Santa Ana winds. The 14th Annual Ridge Kids Christmas: A Resounding Success
Our GEM USA West team truly went above and beyond, closing out the year with an unforgettable celebration. This year’s event welcomed an incredible 2,653 attendees, with over 1,500 children and teens receiving gifts.
Thanks to smart partnerships with @good360usa, @hasbro, #TzuChiFoundation, #Poptastic #FeatherRiverHealthFoundation, and St. John’s Episcopal Church, we were able to create a magical experience. From a vibrant venue and generous giveaways to conga lines, drummers, live entertainment, Santa and friends, delicious food and treats, and stunning arrangements, every detail came together to serve our North State fire families — from the devastating Camp Fire to the recent Park Fire.
This event wasn’t just about gifts; it was about hope and empowerment. Together, we danced, prayed, and celebrated the resilience of our community. We shared light, love, and joy, showing that even in the aftermath of disaster, there is strength in unity and action.
