ガイアナ洪水

Multiple wildfires are currently burning throughout the state of Georgia, with containment efforts stalled due to dry conditions and high winds. The fires have destroyed dozens of homes, forced evacuations in many communities, and put +1,000 more structures at risk.

Hawaii’s islands were recently impacted by the most severe flooding event in over two decades, resulting in widespread damage to residential areas, public infrastructure, and essential services.

A powerful series of winter storms is set to sweep across the United States, bringing heavy snow, ice, and dangerously low temperatures from the Plains to the East Coast. It is estimated that 50% of the USA’s population will be impacted by this storm.

After a series of 19 typhoons and tropical depressions, Vietnam is facing one of the most severe disasters in recent years. Over 400 people have died, 727 have been injured, and more than 337,000 homes have been destroyed.

9月1日、マグニチュード6.0の浅い地震がアフガニスタン東部のクナル州とナンガルハール州で発生した。この地震はタジキスタン、ウズベキスタン、パキスタン、インドまで感じられた。USGSの報告によると、120万人以上がこの地震と5回の余震を感じたという。

この2週間、グアテマラ全土で350回以上の地震が発生した。数千人が被災し、数百の家屋が甚大な被害を受け、一家は避難生活を余儀なくされている。
