2023 was a monumental year for Global Empowerment Mission. With 25 missions, GEM provided more than 150 million dollars worth of aid and support to people around the world. With more than 355 missions in 56 countries, GEM’s reach is larger than ever before.

Acapulco, México, fue devastada por un huracán de categoría 5 el 25 de octubre. Las tormentas causaron inundaciones, daños estructurales extremos, destrucción de carreteras, afectando gravemente a más de 2 millones de personas. Nuestro equipo de GEM LATAM se desplegó inmediatamente en México, y actualmente está sobre el terreno en Acapulco coordinando la distribución de ayuda de kits de alimentos familiares y necesidades en las áreas afectadas por este devastador desastre. GEM LATAM está trabajando en conjunto con agencias gubernamentales, incluida la Oficina del Gobernador del Estado de Guerrero México, la Cámara Nacional de Comercio y Servicios y Turismo de Acapulco.
