After a series of 19 typhoons and tropical depressions, Vietnam is facing one of the most severe disasters in recent years. Over 400 people have died, 727 have been injured, and more than 337,000 homes have been destroyed. Furthermore, over 553,500 hectares of crops are now underwater, which will affect these communities much greater in the long term by ruining their food & livelihoods.

Thousands of families have been left without shelter, food, and access to clean water.

Our GEM Europe team is on the ground delivering aid to those who have been affected the most.

GEM is presently on the ground in Enid, Oklahoma where a massive tornado destroyed over 40 homes and tore through neighbourhoods. Considered the strongest tornado of the year, so far, the storm has caused disruptions to power and water systems and to the Vance Air Force Base.

Terremoto en Afganistán 2025

Afganistán
El 1 de septiembre, un terremoto de magnitud 6,0 sacudió las provincias orientales afganas de Kunar y Nangarhar. El seísmo se sintió hasta en Tayikistán, Uzbekistán, Pakistán e India; según el USGS, más de 1,2 millones de personas sintieron el terremoto y sus 5 réplicas.
