Ми не могли стояти осторонь.
Разом із Howard G. Buffett Foundation наша команда Global Empowerment Mission оперативно відреагувала. За кілька тижнів замінили 328 віконних конструкцій площею понад 1000 м². Тепло повернулося до палат. Лікарі знову можуть зосередитися на головному – рятувати життя.

📍🏥🪟 On November 12, 2025, enemy shelling damaged the O.S. Kolomiychenko Institute of Otolaryngology of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine. More than 300 windows were shattered, hospital wards were left in the cold, and critical departments faced the risk of shutdown.
We could not stand aside.
Together with the Howard G. Buffett Foundation, the Global Empowerment Mission team responded swiftly. Within just a few weeks, 328 window structures were replaced, covering over 1,000 square meters. Warmth returned to the wards. Doctors could once again focus on what matters most — saving lives.
🙏🏻🫂 This is our mission: to stand рядом when it is hardest. To act quickly. To restore what war has destroyed .
Each installed window is an opportunity for patients to receive care. It is warmth for those who heal. It is our response to destruction.

Phase 1: Immeditate Disaster Relief
Since the beginning of the crisis, Global Empowerment Mission has established solutions, partnerships, and strategies to recognize and assist all those affected. Not only in Ukraine, but assistance has spread to those displaced across Poland, Hungary, Romania, Slovakia, Moldova, Georgia, and beyond. GEM has continued adapting our responses to meet the evolving needs on the ground, providing continued large-scale humanitarian aid support.

In March 2022, GEM activated partnerships with professional military NGO’s, such as Aerial Recovery Group, to be able to deliver aid inside Ukraine. During this period, getting aid inside Ukraine required highly advanced tactics and methods. Since then, GEM has implemented our own major infrastructure in-country. GEM has it’s own warehousing, trucking, logistics methods, production, and so on. To date, GEM has delivered thousands of trucks of aid throughout the region, with an emphasis on front line communities in the most at-risk oblasts. Hundreds of trucks are delivered monthly to these residents. Our aid distributions have adapted and scaled since March 2022; needs are routinely assessed to ensure that our Family Necessity Kits contain the most needed supplies.

Classi intelligenti
Le Smart Classes sono un'iniziativa educativa volta a fornire ai bambini sfollati aule e risorse per continuare la loro istruzione. In collaborazione con SmartAid, sono state create classi in Polonia, Romania, Moldavia e Ucraina. Ogni classe è dotata di tutta la tecnologia necessaria per consentire agli studenti di continuare a studiare, seguendo il programma di studi del Ministero dell'Istruzione ucraino.
Partenariato con il governo
Dal maggio 2022, GEM ha stabilito protocolli d'intesa a lungo termine con molti governatori e sindaci regionali in tutta l'Ucraina. Nell'ambito di questi accordi, GEM si impegna a fornire a questi centri governativi regionali aiuti e forniture per l'invernaggio. Sono in corso partnership governative con le regioni di Bucha, Chernihiv, Charkiv, Poltava, Vinnytsia, Odessa, Mykolaiv e Kviv.
Sostenere le città appena liberate
Recentemente molte aree dell'Ucraina sono state liberate con successo. Alcuni di questi villaggi, città e regioni sono stati occupati per mesi e mesi e non hanno avuto accesso a risorse adeguate. With average temperatures of below 0 Celsius, the winter seasons in Ukraine have been a major concern for residents since the onset of the crisis, due to lack of electricity, secure housing, and other safety concerns. GEM has planned annually for the season, supplying these life-saving resources in the fall. This includes warm blankets and bedding, generators, small space heaters, fire starter kits, reliable clothing and accessories, and more. Additionally, our rebuilding efforts have been increasingly necessary during these times. Repairing broken windows and heating units before temperatures fall and weather changes, has been paramount to keeping Ukrainian residents safe and warm during the coldest months.

Il governo e l'ufficio del Presidente dell'Ucraina hanno creato migliaia di "Punti di Invincibilità" in tutto il Paese, offrendo uno spazio dove la gente del posto può ricevere pasti caldi, accesso a caricabatterie per dispositivi, uno spazio caldo, rifornimenti e sostegno alla comunità. Attualmente GEM sostiene oltre 200 di questi punti, fornendo pasti caldi auto-riscaldati, coperte, generatori e altre forniture specifiche per la zona. Our work in Ukraine has gone beyond humanitarian aid deliveries and immediate relief. Through our rebuilding efforts, GEM has successfully repaired and restored hundreds of structures. From medical centres and schools to homes and entire neighbourhoods, we have been committed to helping Ukrainian civilians restore normalcy in their communities. This has helped thousands of people return to safe housing, resume their education and learning, have access to healthcare and resources, and has overall supported revivals of local economies. Every repair project is carefully executed in lower risk areas, supported by thorough risk assessment measures, which ensures safety and long-term impact.
Supporto in prima linea
In partnership with The Howard G. Buffett Foundation, major distributions have been able to occur along the active front lines in the most needed regions. Deliveries of Family Necessity Kits and critical supplies happen consistently, no matter the weather, terrain, or distance. Monthly, GEM sends hundreds of trucks to these areas.

Insieme alla Howard G. Buffett Foundation, GEM ha lavorato attivamente per riparare migliaia di finestre distrutte a causa degli attacchi. Le finestre sono prodotte nel Paese, il che ha permesso a queste strutture produttive di avere lavoro in un momento di incertezza. Grazie alla riparazione di queste finestre, migliaia di famiglie hanno potuto beneficiare della possibilità di rimanere nel comfort della propria casa, senza dover sfollare a causa delle temperature rigide o del disagio.
Seed Program
GEM works all throughout Ukraine & it’s active front lines delivering a variety of different seeds to local farmers and landowners. This program has allowed for people to have access to fresh produce that they may not have been able to because of the active crisis. It also allows for people to gain income through selling the produce, therefore supporting themselves even further. To date, this program has distributed over 115 million seeds and has significantly made a difference in front line communities.
