Please take a moment to watch this important 30 Day recap video of GEM’s mission response to Hurricane Beryl. For more than ten days, Hurricane Beryl swept through the Windward Islands, Jamaica, Southern Mexico and Texas. This catastrophic storm triggered a multi country response and deployment from the Global Empowerment Mission team. In the first 30 days, GEM headquarters in Miami dispatched over 200,000 lbs of humanitarian cargo, including generators, tarps, and thousands of family emergency kits.
Simultaneously delivering assistance to multiple islands and countries requires strong partnerships with government and community leaders. In the midst of chaos and destruction, these relationships are instrumental to our speed and efficiency. The foundation of our success requires seamless coordination - but most importantly - delivering on decisions in real-time. A very special thank you to the following for being such an instrumental part of these recovery efforts. @sflcaribbeanstrong @ncbfoundation #bstrong @airlinkflight @good360usa @drinkdripdrop #caribbeanconsularcorps @myearthbreeze @janicelyttlefoundation @bredstreasurebeach @odpem @pmogrenada @marlonhill @mairoliver @kindsnacks @pricesmartjm @wardspowertools_ #governmentofjamaica #governmentofgrenada #lubetzkyfamilyfoundation @amazon @airservintl @howardwardfoundation @spartannashco @goyafoods @goyacares @m25m_org #wtw
