Ayuda para catástrofes

En 1999, el fundador de GEM, Michael Capponi, junto con el alcalde de Miami Beach, Neisen Kasdin, organizó esfuerzos en toda la ciudad para las víctimas de la crisis de Kosovo. Se recogieron más de 15.000 libras de suministros, que se entregaron y donaron a la organización Feed the Children.
