RETURN TO RELIEF MISSIONS
TROPICAL STORM ERIKA | 2015
Dominica is a very small, mountainous island of 72,000 people located in the lower Caribbean. The island is susceptible to massive flooding and Erika has crippled the inhabitants’ water systems, spreading water born diseases throughout the island while leaving hundreds of families displaced. Given its size, Dominica currently does not have the resources to deal with this situation without outside aid. Between 10,000 and 20,000 people have been affected and nearly half of the island is without electricity. The pictures below were sent to us by their ambassador, requesting aid.
