RETURN TO BOARD OF DIRECTORS
My name is Ashley Fullmer. In people years I'm 13, but some say my soul is much older. As a junior high student, most of my life is filled with family, friends and volleyball. But recently, I found myself volunteering at the Chico Evacuation Center in California. I assumed a lot of responsibilities in a short time: helping families find a temporary home, finding clothes, and passing out cash donations on behalf of GEM and Be Strong. This experience opened my eyes to the importance of community in a crisis. Showing up is an easy first step, which is why I know this won't be the last time I work alongside the GEM and BStrong team.
