Gem USA West has been assisting those affected by the recent flooding and winter storm in multiple areas of California. These storms brought evacuations, lives lost, and extreme damage to homes and agricultural land. Assistance has been provided in San Bernardino, Crestline, Blue Jay, and Arrowhead, serving over 3,500 famiilies in need, alongside the help of San Bernardino County, Mountain Strong, and Mountain Area Mutual Aid. GEM USA West also cooperated with Rotary District 5230, Second Wind Harvest Food Bank, and the Monterey County Health Department and Emergency Services to distribute aid in Santa Cruz County.
To date, GEM has distributed 46+ pallets in Monterey County consisting of family necessity kits, diapers, pet food, batteries, laundry, hygiene and water, with upcoming distributions also taking place in multiple areas of Tulare County.

The earthquakes affected approximately 10 million people in the country, which accounts for more than half of Syria’s population. Over 105,000 people are displaced.
From now on we will be delivering aid into Syria on a regular basis.
